Description

Ascend is excited to host Rhythms of India: Diwali Bollywood Dance Fest in partnership with EY Miami. Join us in celebrating the festival of lights at this event featuring an instructor-led Bollywood-Zumba fusion dance workshop along with cultural activities!

 

Please note this event will be held in the amenity room on the 7th floor of the EY Miami office at 2 Miami Central.

 

Garage parking is available with a $20 daily flat fee at the Brightline Miami Central Station adjacent to the office; hourly rates may vary. Metered street parking spots can also be found nearby in the surrounding area via the PayByPhone app.

Meet other professionals and Ascend members in the local South Florida network while participating in cultural festivities, including a DIY station to make diya lamps! Drinks and light bites will be served.

Rhythms of India

 

Diwali, also called Divali or Deepavali, is the annual Hindu festival of lights. Symbolizing the victory of light over darkness and the triumph of good over evil, this holiday is celebrated by more than a billion people of various faiths across India. Join us for an important group discussion as we learn more about this celebration and its diverse traditions.

Bollywood Dance Class

 

Prepare to break a sweat with our Bollywood dance class instructor! Don’t forget to bring comfortable clothes.

Safety of our guests is paramount to Ascend. Attendees are responsible for monitoring their own condition and agree to comply with the safety, hygiene and CDC identified pandemic level communicable illnesses (including COVID-19) guidelines established by relevant health authorities.
